| Fraser River Port Authority Implements Interim License Agreement for Container Truckers |

August 2, 2005: To get container trucks back to work throughout the Greater Vancouver Cargo Gateway, the Fraser River Port Authority will accept the interim licenses issued by the Vancouver Port Authority to companies signing statutory declarations that they will adhere to the recommendations made by mediator Vince Ready at a meeting held on Monday, August 1, 2005.
Effective Thursday, August 4, 2005, the Fraser River Port Authority will require trucks accessing its Fraser Surrey Docks container terminal to have an interim license. Trucking companies have a grace period until Thursday to obtain their license from the Vancouver Port Authority.

These interim licenses will be accepted for a period of 90 days, while the Fraser River Port Authority considers if, and what, longer term process may be required.
