May 14, 2005: Notice is hereby given by the FRASER RIVER PORT AUTHORITY, 500-713 Columbia Street, New Westminster, BC V3M 1B2 on this date, May 14, 2005, that the above-named intends to apply to Environment Canada for a Disposal at Sea Permit under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act to load 1,200,000 cubic metres of dredged river silt/sand/gravel from Fraser River navigation channels for the purpose of ocean disposal at Sand Heads Ocean Disposal Site, Point Grey Ocean Disposal Site, and various in-river disposal sites by end discharge or hopper scows.
