Port Director
The term of the appointee representing the General Commercial Users group on the Board of Directors of the Fraser River Port Authority expires on April 30, 2001. In accordance with Section 14 of the Canada Marine Act (CMA), the Port Users’ Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for the position of Director for the period of May 1, 2001 to April 30, 2004.
Section 16 of the CMA provides details about those individuals who may not be directors. Specifically, individuals who are a director, officer, or employee of a person who is a user of the port are precluded from appointment.
Nominations will be received until 5 p.m. on February 9, 2001.
