One of the Fraser River Port Authority's primary duties is to supervise the harbour. It is a complex physical environment with many users and stakeholders. The Port Authority endeavours to ensure the safety of everyone using the harbour through:

  • regular channel maintenance
  • harbour patrol
  • emergency planning and response

The Port Authority also manages – and to some degree regulates – activity in the harbour through a variety of guidelines and procedures. Broad selections of these documents are provided here:
