Overview
Fraser River Port is a fascinating and complex system of shipping lanes, marine
facilities, support services and stakeholders who live and work along the lower Fraser
River.
- 36 million tonnes of cargo, 95,000 TEUs and 464,640 vehicles are shipped through the Port
each year.
- Port activities generate 16,100 direct jobs that inject $730 million in wages
into BC's economy.
- The Fraser River Port Authority has managed the Port since 1913.
